Rustic Sourdough Bread - King Arthur

1Add sourdough starter and lukewarm water and yeast to bread machine .sourdough starter: 1/2 c, lukewarm water: 3/4 c (or whey), yeast: 1/2 tbsp

2Top with salt and flour .salt: 1.25 tsp, flour: 2.5 c

3Use dough cycle and allow to rise until doubled, about ⏱️ 90 minutes .

4Gently form dough into a ball.

5Allow to rest for ⏱️ 15 minutes .

6Shape into a circle or elongated loaf.

7Cover dough and let rise on parchment-covered baking sheet about ⏱️ 60 minutes .

8Spray loaf with water and dust with flour. Make 2-4 diagonal slashes with lame.

9Bake at 425 for ⏱️ 30-35 minutes , until golden brown.
